This program is designed to provide best of the best experience for trekkers, so that the trekkers can feel and enjoy every side of the beauty found of Mount Rinjani. Watching the sunset at Sembalun Crater Rim with a view of Lake Segara Anak and Mount Baru jari on the right side, Sembalun on the left side, and the top of mount Rinjani in front front. watching the perfect panorama from the top of Mount Rinjani, with the sunrise adorning the sea of clouds and the entire beauty of Rinjani, Mount Agung in Bali to the west and Mount Tambora in Sumbawa to the east. Enjoying the birdsong from behind the lakeside trees in the morning and see the aesthetic beauty of the thick clouds filling the mouth of Mount Baru jari in the middle of the lake, surrounded by the peak of Rinjani and cliffs, and the morning sunlight filling the blue sky.
We offer two different descent routes: Senaru Crater Rim and Torean. From Senaru Crater Rim, we witness the sunset in the evening and the sunrise in the morning, casting its light on Lake Segara Anak like a breathtaking painting. On the other way, from Torean, we will see the sunrise and its light illuminating the beautiful trail, hailed as the Jurassic Park of Indonesia, with natural hot springs, waterfalls, and other beautiful views.
Itinerary:
- Pick-up at the agreed location, such as: ZAM Airport, hotels in Senggigi, Bangsal, and other locations on Lombok Island.
- Transfer to accommodation located in Sembalun or Senaru.

Day 1: Accommodation – Sembalun Crater Rim
- 07:00 – Enjoy breakfast at the accommodation.
- 08:00 – Head to Rinjani Information Center in Sembalun for registration.
- Begin the trekking from the starting point towards Pos 1 and Pos 2, with a relatively flat route offering views of savannah and the remarkable Mount Rinjani.
- Rest at Pos 2 for ticket verification by officials and enjoy snacks before continuing to Pos 3 Padabalong.
- At Pos 3 Padabalong, take a longer break for lunch and prepare for the challenging trek ahead. Trek through rocky terrain with steep inclines flanked by beautiful hills on both sides. Occasionally, pause to look back and admire the stunning savannah landscape as a bonus from the beauty of Mount Rinjani.
- From Pos 4 Cemara Siu to Sembalun Crater Rim, trek through a route known as the Hill of Regret, as the terrain is quite challenging.
- Arrive at Sembalun Crater Rim in the evening. Trekkers can enjoy the sunset with views of Lake Segara Anak and Mount Barujari on the right side, Sembalun on the left side, and the top of rinjani in the front. Having Dinner and camping.
Day 2: Sembalun Crater Rim – Mount Rinjani Summit – Lake Segara Anak
- Wake up around 03:00 for breakfast before embarking on the challenging ascent to the summit.
- 03:30 – Continue the ascent, passing through steep trails dominated by sandy terrain (letter L) and the legendary path (letter E) with sandy and rocky paths ascending to the summit of Rinjani.
- In the morning, reach the summit to witness the sunrise, the perfect time to enjoy the spectacular view.
- Descend to the crater rim for a brief rest and breakfast before heading to Lake Segara Anak.
- Set up tents by the lake for overnight stay and have lunch. Spend the day until evening enjoying the beauty of the surroundings, fishing, bathing in the lake or natural hot springs nearby, and other activities.
Day 3: Lake Segara Anak – Senaru Crater Rim or Torean
- In the morning, trekkers will witness the incredibly enchanting panorama.
- After breakfast, leave the impressive area and continue the journey along the lake\’s edge. Stop at Senaru Crater Rim or Torean\’s tropical forest for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Senaru Crater Rim or Torean – Senaru or Torean – Final Destination
- In the morning, witness the spectacular beauty and capture moments with loved ones.
- After breakfast and admiring the spectacular beauty, continue the descent to Senaru or Torean.
- Arrive at Senaru or Torean around 12:30 in the afternoon, where our team will be waiting to take you to your final destination (finish).
